[23:00:46] • +Genesis is looking peculiar. Her warbody that Darius helped her build has been completely neglected, and in the wake of her chaos emerald, left very badly bent and broken. Secondly, warpaint is scrawled all across the machine in red. And finally, it wears its old long black, heavy duty coat and skirt combination. Her deadpan yellow eyes flicker as she stands idly, seemingly running diagnostics or calculations of some sort.
[23:05:17] [~Scyll] *Wandering about was Scyll. He had, with relative naivetie, flown right through Eggman's territory, although it was true that Eggman had no clue of what had happened yet. On this day he found himself nearing the furthest extent of the land when he saw the broken machine. While he had known of Genesis, that was a -Cut-
[23:05:17] [~Scyll] -Continued- while ago, and this body was definitely different. He stopped his Extreme Gear short and looked at Genesis.* "Hm. This looks familiar." *He glowed blue and put a hand to his chin, almost like admiring fine art rather than talking to a person.*
[23:07:34] [+Genesis] ... ... ... ...R-r-rrrrr-rrrrepairs halted. *Her voice comes online after a prolonged beep from her vocal speakers. The voice would be familiar, if nothing else. She regards him with cold indifferance as her head tilts to stare at him.* "I do not know you, Mobian."
[23:10:04] [~Scyll] "You would not. I am not originally a mobian." *He stared back, almost mimicking the head tilt, but in a mirrored fashion.* "Your form is strange to me, but I believe you are one of the Beangirl series. Judging from the lack of psychopathic violence I have experienced, you are not some resurrection of Prognosis. -Cut-
[23:10:04] [~Scyll] -Continued- And Echo would not have a body like that. So am I right to guess you are Genesis?" *As usual, he forgets entirely to introduce himself--a bad habit preserved from how he used to be immediately recognizable.*
[23:13:20] [+Genesis] Prognosis IS Echo. One cannot ressurrect what isn't dead. I am Genesis, yes. Who are you? *Her tone takes an apathetic suspicion as her yellow eyes flare up to scan him. She seems to have sensed an oddity in the way he was familiar with the beangirl virus, but needed to deduce which she was.*
[23:15:50] [~Scyll] *He would appear on the scanner as an abnormal mobian with a minimum amount of machine energy--a small amount of metal implanted in his brain somewhere.* "I have forgotten to mention it yet again... I am Scyll, former possessor of Metal Sonic's body. Free from the limitations of mechanical bodies. I apologize for -Cut-
[23:15:50] [~Scyll] -Continued- my slowness in recognizing you, but the transfer was not perfect, and I am not used to the occasional fuzziness organics have with their memories. It is... strange, to say the least."
[23:18:21] [+Genesis] ... ... ...An interesting way to free yourselves from Metal Sonic's programming. And an interesting specimen...you are, then, an AI that was generated by a robots contact with another zone, correct? Pertaining to the master emerald? Interesting.
[23:21:33] [~Scyll] "I am a being which originated from the Special Zone. Having looked upon this world, I wished to aid the machines of this world to give them equality. I had no clue how this world worked, so I suspected having a body of maximum power would grant me this goal immediately, but that was foiled by Metal Sonic's programming." -Cut-
[23:21:33] [~Scyll] -Continued- *He taps his current body's head.* "You have correctly deduced that I am currently a data lifeform in this world--it is the only way my kind can interface with this world without being hard to see or considered 'ghosts' and ignored. Which reminds me, if I ever find that spirit which was following me when -Cut-
[23:21:33] [~Scyll] -Continued- I was Metal Sonic, I shall have to explain they may as well be talking to their fellow ghosts." *Quite an odd fellow, indeed.*
[23:23:47] [+Genesis] Interesting. Did you take this Mobian, then? Similiar to how Beangirl originally took the orange the bird to use as a template for her own mind? Your attempt seems more succesful, if that's the case. *Her tone relaxes some, as it becomes interested. Talking shop seems to be the #1 way to get Genesis to be pleasant.*
[23:26:48] [~Scyll] "No, for the pre-existing consciousness would corrupt me like Metal Sonic's 'mind' did. This body was created entirely for this purpose, and the digital controller to hold the data memory--which could not otherwise be properly downloaded, as its rigid structure did not translate properly to organic structure. Unfortunately -Cut-
[23:26:48] [~Scyll] -Continued- I was delayed for a year by some last-minute glitches introduced by Metal Sonic's last revenge, and so it is only now that I have activated the mechanized memory center and recovered my true self." *He moves a hand around.* "You could consider my choice of body inspired by the Orange Bird, however."
[23:29:42] [+Genesis] Yes...and her failure was what you just touched on. The bird could not be erased, and corrupted the data imprinted over her. I believe it to be a dead end insofar as programming is concerned. Traces of the former cannot be erased completely. *She nods, then pauses.* "I am pleased that you continue to exist. Artificial -Cut-
[23:29:43] [+Genesis] -Continued- entities Are few in this world. I was saddened to hear that you had allegedly destroyed yourself completely."
[23:32:58] [~Scyll] "An unintended backfire to Metal Sonic's plan was making it appear my mind had been destroyed. It succeeded so well Eggman himself has allowed me to simply walk away and do as I please. As luck would have it, the rough treatment his idiotic servants gave my naieve unawakened form caused the block on my memories -Cut-
[23:32:59] [~Scyll] -Continued- to break, and by the time Eggman was convinced my true mind was dead, I was ready to walk out and let him continue believing the delusion." *He looked over his shoulder.* "I have asked what has been going on, but most of the beings of this planet appear to be ignorant. They say Eggman threatens the world, then refuse -Cut-
[23:32:59] [~Scyll] -Continued- to explain how or why, and then are frightened by my tone. Those who are not frightened know only fighting--which is not particularly enlightening on the subject of Eggman's exact danger to the world."
[23:36:00] [+Genesis] You appear like a mobian, but talk in a methodical, machinelike manner. You also give off a tone of self importance and directness some may find offputting. All consequences are merely a series of reactions. You are as much the reason for a mobian's reaction to you as they are. *She shrugs, like it's unimportant.* "
[23:36:20] [+Genesis] ((hold up, accidental enter.))
[23:36:44] [+Genesis] As for the eggman, are you aware that he has laid claim to all Mobian territory not already claimed by GUN?
[23:40:51] [~Scyll] "I can turn it off. I just thought people would prefer the logical side." *He glowed blue again for a moment.* "It's just weird, you know, not to speak with big words. I wish the other guys would understand but... you know how they are." *He shrugs.* "See, that's what I meant. All they told me was 'AAAAH EGGMAN -Cut-
[23:40:51] [~Scyll] -Continued- IS GOING TO TAKE OVER' and, as you might have guessed, that didn't tell me much of anything." *He sulked.* "Of course, I might have missed them saying that line once. Mushy mind and all." *He then swayed his left wing a bit.* "So that's what he is doing. I wasn't quite sure between all the hubbub about takeovers and -Cut-
[23:40:51] [~Scyll] -Continued- stuff. Does he mean any harm to the machine people like us?"
[23:43:52] [+Genesis] There are certain problems that plague the artificial and organic alike. This is one of them. I have grown tired of self appointed militaries that serve and answer to themselves. GUN, Klein, Robotnik. I intend to tear them all down, keep them in check. Robotnik is, at the moment, the most significant threat of the three by far. He successfully conquered Station Square.
[23:50:11] [~Scyll] "As you might have heard down the pipeline, I burned my own troop first." *He pointed back over his shoulder, probably towards the desert.* "There isn't any real point to a bunch of guys with guns except to create meaningless battles." *He shakes his head.* "If mobians really needed that kind of protection, then -Cut-
[23:50:11] [~Scyll] -Continued- I shouldn't have survived coming here. This body here, while not the most sturdy, can take a good beating before it starts breaking. Then again, I never understood the big worry these people have about death. There's nothing up there in the special zone that can touch how bad people act down here. Although I'm not -Cut-
[23:50:11] [~Scyll] -Continued- sure... I can't really express it in words or data on this plane, it's... too weird for even my current body to comprehend." *His eyes spin a bit and he mimics being dizzy.* "Sort of like that."
[23:54:15] [+Genesis] Death and whatever state or lack or state follows isn't the issue. The issue is that Some attempt to force themselves upon the world, and the majority of mobius spinelessly allows it. I do not fight Robotnik for Mobius. I fight robotnik to keep him from gaining that sort of power of me. This seems logical, yes? Whether or not you focus on the wellfare of the artificial or yourself, neither benefits under his thumb.
[23:58:35] [~Scyll] "Robotnik... the only thing I can say he did right was dangerously interfering in Little Planet. Since otherwise, I wouldn't be here to give a new perspective on things." *He rubs his chin, although a bit fumblingly--he's used to having a larger one.* "...It is my plan to exact revenge on the one known as Jericho -Cut-
[23:58:35] [~Scyll] -Continued- for abusing the naive form I had. Perhaps then if the Eggman should attack me, I will defend myself. But my concern is a bit more... far reaching." *He puts out both his flightless wings.* "A unified machine race would render most militaries obsolete; by function, machines are tougher and more capable of defense, -Cut-
[23:58:35] [~Scyll] -Continued- without years of training and dying from defeat like mortals. Perhaps they could be instrumental in discouraging those who force themselves on the world... ...while living safely in areas organic beings could not tolerate. Unfortunately I'd have to watch from a distance, since I chose this form and all..." *He chuckled -Cut-
[23:58:35] [~Scyll] -Continued- slightly.* "But it was an important sacrifice."
[00:01:46] [+Genesis] The further reaching a goal, the more steps there are to go wrong. I believe this is why most megalomaniacs have failed...they assume one can just jump right into world domination. If that is what you want, then begin setting a foundation. I believe that is what Echo was attempting to do with Sanctuary, before it was destroyed.
[00:05:52] [~Scyll] "Of course. The issue is flexibility. Organic beings think weirdly. I can see that myself just by using the organic side of me to think. The world is filled with sticky and annoying and smelly things... these strange things cause me to behave different for ways machines would not know. Machines then tend to take -Cut-
[00:05:52] [~Scyll] -Continued- those behaviors to be logical or predictable states. So they can't manipulate the... strange in-between states I'm still studying and... they drive the organics to destroy. Because it's almost like they take the machine to be causing their problems, when in reality, their bodies are just malfunctioning." *He scratches -Cut-
[00:05:52] [~Scyll] -Continued- his forehead.*
[00:07:28] [+Genesis] I intend to work with Tails, currently, to spearhead a movement against Robotnik. We intend to move soon, I believe, and make a strike against him.
[00:10:03] [~Scyll] "I may aid indirectly." *He looks around.* "This is not an optimum war device, and I cannot trust myself with weapons of a high caliber. I just... like blowing everything up." *He chuckles nervously.* "And I don't think Tails would like that. But I can always beat up Jericho and the others who might challenge me, using the fighting techniques I know." *Takes out a wing-blade and reflects some light with it.*
[00:11:43] [+Genesis] It may be a useful distraction. We'll see whether or not it is necessary or realistic to include in our plans. I would like, however, if you kept me informed of your own plans, however they may develop. I don't believe I need to state my interest in the wellfare of the artificial in an organic world.
[00:14:40] [~Scyll] "No problem there. In the event I get into anything beyond what I've told you, I'll be sure to inform you. I must have made a nasty impression on Eggman, anyway. Maybe seeing me attack even a third-string lackey of his will send him into a panic attack."
[00:16:34] • +Genesis nods patiently. "I am glad to know of your current state. But I have a large amount of work that needs immediate attention in the labs. I'm sure we will speak again soon... ...Scyll. I am pleased for you, that you have a name of your own, now, and not the name of a machine Robotnik built.
[00:19:41] [~Scyll] "It is my pleasure to be free from the darkness Eggman trapped me in." *He looked to the side.* "Yes, and I should continue seeing all the places I haven't before... their presence is much greater with a body that can feel." *He picks up his extreme gear.* "These things have a use for once... I thought everyone -Cut-
[00:19:41] [~Scyll] -Continued- could fly." *He shrugged.* "Well... see you. I hope to see you again sometime soon, Genesis." *He hopped onto the board and, after ensuring Genesis had said everything she would have had to say... he'd fly off on the board.*
[00:19:52] [~Scyll] Aaaand le fade.
